Jamnalal Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha (JBGVS) was established in 2011 in Wardha district under its parent society Jankidevi Bajaj Gram Vikas Sanstha (JBGVS ) that works under the patronage of Shri Rahul Bajaj, Vice-Chairman of Bajaj Auto Limited and Trustee of JBGVS. Bajaj Auto and Bajaj Finance Group undertake their Corporate Social Responsibility work through JBGVS. The main goal of Wardha unit is to focus on integrated rural development work that is aligned with the guidelines of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals with a major focus on the areas of Education, Health, Veterinary, Agriculture and Social Development. From 2011-2019 JBGVS worked for the adopted 40 Villages of Wardha district. Later, JBGVS society in Wardha district was renamed on 1 April 2023 as “Jamnalal Bajaj Seva Trust (JBST)”. and works for every village of Wardha district. JBST aims to act as a catalyst and assist the participating rural community to improve their quality of life, through the distribution of medicine and medical apertures to hospitals, veterinary treatment for animals, Seed distribution to farmers, and education in rural areas. All JBST programs are designed in consultation with the active participation of the villagers for better acceptability and effective implementation.
