ANC.PNC Guidance Program / Poshak Ahar Program

Pregnancy is a very important stage in a woman’s life. If proper care is taken during pregnancy, the health of both mother and child should be taken care of. Therefore, Garoda Mata and Satnada Mata were guided through the organization. How to take a healthy diet for mother and baby through recipes and nutritional guidance? Guidance was given on many such topics. Pregnancy, childbirth, child rearing, etc. To give guidance in this regard by giving the necessary information. The baby should be born with good weight, healthy, giving information about the baby’s diet after birth so that the baby does not become a victim of malnutrition. Keeping this objective in mind, from 2016 to 2022, 120 guidance programs for pregnant and lactating mothers were conducted through the organization. Also 27 culinary programs were conducted. A total of 3,650 mothers and adolescent girls attended this program. They were taught protein-rich powders, as well as nutritious foods from olive laddus, masur dal and jowari flour. Through the program, pregnant and lactating mothers were given the necessary information to take care of themselves, the project reduced the rate of malnutrition in babies and also reduced the rate of maternal mortality.

Education

E- Learning Project


Wardha is well known as Gandhi district. Wardha district has a total of 937 schools. The Zilla Parishad had provided ICT-Labs to some of the schools but due to network problem, it was not utilized properly. With the intention that, the students should get technical knowledge of ICT and to utilize it in education, the schools in rural areas were selected for the E-Learning project. During the period of 2014-2017, out of total 937 schools in the district, 727 Schools have been choosen for this initiative and schools having atleast 20 students have been selected. The E-Learning project helped the rural areas a lot. The important part of this activity is that, E-Learning software is offline, so it can be used as and when required. In rural areas, the concepts of laptop-top, TV, projector, were strengthened among the students. 52769 students have benefited from this initiative and got basic knowledge about computers. 

The then State Minister of Finance and Culture Hon. Sudhir Mungantiwar honoured the organization by awarding it at Bapu Kuti Sevagram and as students were helped to understand concepts in a visual form through the audio-visual aids, G.P. Teacher Training Programme

 

The E-Learning project was started in Wardha district. The students should get enough information about ICT in the school, it was necessary to train the teachers to make them more aware of the technology. Therefore in the Teacher Training program, the guidance regarding E-Learning project was provided. In this programme, 3000-4000 teachers of Wardha district were trained. The teachers were trained to inculcate a scientific attitude in the students.

Physical Facilities

In the rural areas, there was a lack of physical facilities in schools. Therefore, the institution chose this activity with the aim of inculcating interest in sports among the students and giving scope to their latent qualities. In this activity, various sports equipment like, balls, volleyball, rope, band squad, cricket kit etc. was given to the schools. Physical facilities have been made available through the institution for the students to achieve their progress. Students compete in annual school level competitions. In order to encourage them in sports, the institute also gave prizes to meritorious winning students. For this, the teachers of the district expressed their gratitude to the institution.

Environment

KT Weir Needle Fixing and Removing Work

       In various numbers of villages there is KT Weir, from that KT weir farmers were take the water for irrigation purpose but at the end of rainy season when water flow comes to end in that time we inserted (fixing) the needles (Gates) by the help of labours in KT weir, by this the water were stored in up stream side of kt weir & farmers were get the water for irrigation even after rainy season. At the start of rainy season in month of June we removed that all needles that we inserted before. In 42 villages in various numbers of KT weir needles were inserted & removed from last 3 years. In an average 1000-1100 needles were inserted & removed each year.

Soil Testing

      While contacting the farmers in the villages covered by the organization, the farmers apply fertilizers to the crops in the fields after tilling the land. Day by day the prices of fertilizers are increasing but the quantity of additional chemical fertilizers is increasing to get more production. Soil texture is decreasing.  Farmers should be informed about the texture of the soil and should be able to give fertilizer as per requirement. As a result, the production of farmers can be increased by saving financial costs. Keeping this objective in mind, discussions were held with the farmers. For this, Ramakrishna Bajaj Agricultural University and IFFCO Mobile Van (Lab) were contacted, 7/12, Tribe Name etc. were collected. The farmers were also given information about how to take soil samples, otherwise, how much is there in the soil of Spurad, Palansh, micronutrients, and how much fertilizer should be applied to which crops, and the soil samples were checked. Sample Report So farmers don’t give extra fertilizer but they give fertilizers according to need thus saving in cost of production.
